This month went by pretty fast for me. I lost track of the days several times, thought it was Saturday when it was actually Thursday. All parts and parcel when your days are just one endless...day. Some things are getting back to normal, Hubby is slowly returning to work. He’s been doing a great deal of remote work, meetings, emails, and the like. But every week or so he will go into the office for half a day to take care of all the little things he couldn’t do from home. Myself, I took a much needed break from the pressures of pretty much everything book related. (Sorta) I updated a number of book files to reflect the new series name of Blood Magic and The Gift, Realm Wardens Series. I worked out a number of different kinks with the website and email system. Newsletter signups will begin again very soon! I was able to step back and get some perspective for the newest book in Realm Wardens Series, Tor. I created the timeline and detailed out the back stories of all the characters so far in the series and a couple that will appear in Tor and future books. There are still a couple characters I need to do, but for the most part it’s done. Now I can move forward with a clearer idea of where everyone stands and exactly where they cross paths with each other and major events. I haven’t been able to move forward with my 100 day fitness challenge. I’ve been experiencing some health issues that have made strenuous exercise difficult. I’ve been having some heart problems. Pounding, hard to breath, which induces coughing which causes extreme light headed and dizziness. I’m seeing a specialist on May 27th and hopefully he can shine a light on what is happening.
It is a bit disconcerting as I’m sure one could imagine. The rest of this month I need to upload the final revised copies of Mechanical Dragons, Air and Reunion. Not to worry, nothing has been changed. Well except the updated books page reflecting Realm Wardens Series name change. I’ll also be starting back into writing Tor. I know I promised that every four to five months I would have a new release. But as I’ve been very candid with the events in my life you can understand why there won’t be a release this summer. But I promise you, come hell or high water Tor will release in November! That’s it for now. Stay safe, Stay healthy!
