September 14th already, how crazy is that? Where has all the months gone? Things are slowly starting to regulate again and go back to normal. Mind you my daily routine wasn’t changed much, that’s the beauty of already working from home. Hubby on the other hand was like many others and was sent home to work. He didn’t mind this so much and seemed to adapt well. Unfortunately now though he is being called back to the office, at first it was only for one day a week, then to two, then three and now full weeks. He’s having a tough time readjusting back to the early alarm wake-ups and long eight hour days. I think what bothers me about his going back to work is the silence. When he was home dealing with the loss of Ninja was easier. It was comforting to have him in the house; even if we were on opposite ends and different floors I could hear him every so often. But that first day he was gone, the first day I woke up and he was already out of the house was difficult. She may have only been six pounds, and she may have slept about 90% of the time, but I knew she was there because she snored. Yeah, it’s a little thing you don’t think much of it when they are there. With Hubby home I didn’t notice as much. But when he was gone for the entire day, the silence was soul crushing. I’m doing much better now, I am. It may not seem as though that’s the case, but it is. I’m starting to get back into those activities that I took some joy from. I don’t get up every morning and just want to crawl back into bed. I’m able to concentrate now, get things done. It is getting easier to carry. I’m not fully there yet, but I’m much closer. I want to share with you a gem I was able to obtain. When I started thinking about Tor and her book I set out to look for some inspiration. I knew she was going to be an orc, but I needed an image. I found one, an amazing one that fits her description extremely close. I tracked down the artist at Art Station and got her permission to use the image in some of my campaigns as well as share on my site. I will be adding the image to the gallery in a few weeks, but if you want to get a preview you will have to sign up for my newsletter. Hehe, ain’t I a stinker! I’m kidding, you would have missed the email if you signed up today. But keep it in mind that the cover reveal is still coming and that is an exclusive for my subscribers. Meet Tor, created by Joanna Wolska. Isn't she amazing?! In other book news I have one more week before my editor gets Tor back to me. November 25th, 2020 is the released date, so mark your calendars! I will be running an event on Facebook that week as well and will have some fun giveaways (the first book in the Realm Wardens Series) as well as other fantasy authors you can meet and hangout with! I’ve started the next project which is a rewrite/re-imagining of my first book series The Guardians. I can’t say it will be much of the same story, but the characters will be back, the world will be richer, and the story will be epic! Look for this series, which will be re-branded as well (a fancy way of saying it’s getting a new name) they will be released in 2021. Now before I go, I would like to introduce you to a fellow author, he has exciting news about his newest release! Hello!
