These past couple weeks I’ve enjoyed a little time to myself. With the book being with the beta’s I could concentrate on other things. I did indeed do some gaming, hammered out the timeline for the next series, and took a little day trip with the Hubby to Banff.
I was thrilled to discover that Banff had a Christmas store. It was the first place we went to and I added a Santa gnome to my collection. Along with a few Christmas ornaments.
It was a beautiful day, we went down to Bow Lake and stood at the freezing shore. I mean it was cold! Mind you there was a glacier just on the other side of the lake. We didn’t run into anyone until we headed back to the parking lot. Which by that time we were already in the car and on our way out.
My workouts have been a bit on the sporadic side. For a week there I wasn’t feeling so great. Moving was a challenge. But I did manage to finish enough kms to get my zodiac and pivot couch medals.
That bottom bar is starting to get some life to it!
The betas are slowly returning Tor to me and I have two weeks to go through those notes and fix any major issues. The 31st of August it will go to the editor.
The unfortunate part of all this is that it looks like I may need to get some new beta’s for the next series. My current ones lives are getting a little busy and they aren’t able to dedicate as much time needed to beta. These things happen, life happens, it’s to be expected in this industry.
Soon I will be releasing the Tor cover, but you will need to sign up for my newsletter for that.
The next couple weeks will be the beta revisions then it’s three weeks of writing the new series, getting a blurb put together, and starting to look at promoting.
One last thing, if you were interested in checking out Bounty it’s currently free at Kobo. You'll find it under Fantasy and Horror. Follow the link to grab your copy!
