What A Month So Far

January is just flying by! Here we are the last weekend of the month!

But what a month has it been! I’ve re-released two books in the Mechanical Dragons Series. The first four books in the series had been touched up and reedited to address some of the more technical problems in my writing. They read much smoother and makes the story that much more enjoyable.

I’ve started working on Tor, book three of the Blood Magic series. I absolutely love how this series has taken form. Taking the writing style of the amazing writers in the marvel movie franchise. The series is being written with each book being standalones. The main characters are different in each book and they all intertwine with each other. It’s challenging, but I’m loving every minute of it. My hand drawn maps are available in the gallery if you want to check those out.

I got to sit down and chat with three of my cousins at the beginning of the month about a passion project I was hoping to start at the end of March. There is a great deal of research to do and hopefully get a couple more interviews to be able to write the book I want. More on that later.

On the crafting side, I’ve been doing some work with clay again. Something I used to do all the time and would sell at local craft fairs. I dropped out of doing it when my writing kicked into gear. But I have rekindled my love for the crafts and have a lot of great ideas! I will keep you in the loop as I start perfecting the projects.

That is all the news for this month, and I look forward to talking to you all again in February!

Neshula

Neshula, the smallest of the five dragons is the size of a parrot with the delicate butterfly-like wings. Her preferred mode of travel is in the hood of her creator, Khaly. Neshula’s skills as a healer are accomplished when she trills beautiful melodies. She can mend everything but a broken heart. This tiny pink dragon would rather have a bowl of stew for every meal than anything else. Although she is the tiniest of them all, she is the most powerful.

I have a tendency to ramble when talking to friends. I figured why not share my ramblings here with you nice people!
