It has been a crazy month! From family and dear friends coming in from out of town, three books signings, Thanksgiving, getting final edits completed for The Gift book 2 in The Blood Magic series, completing first round edits of MD3 and sending it out to my editor, the continued writing of MD5, and finally sitting down with a fellow author and dear friend to discuss the possibilities of a collaboration in 2020!
If you’re thinking this must be at least several months’ worth of activities, you’d be wrong. Sadly, this was all from October 1-23rd! It’s no wonder when I hit send on my email on the 23rd to my editor my body basically said, “I’m done.” Within two hours of that email going out I was coughing up a lung.
So I actually went from being behind to catching up, then being ahead and now behind once again. Can’t seem to catch a break I’m afraid, but that’s okay because only good things are going to come from all my hard work!
My book signings went extremely well at all three locations and I was asked back for the release of the print versions of The Gift. I spoke with some lovely people heard some interesting stories and met a young woman who was just starting out on her own writing journey.
I’m exhausted, but still highly motivated and ready to push forward! I’m excited about next month’s release and the upcoming rapid re-release of the Mechanical Dragon series in January!
I have much to do so I will be on my way!
I have a tendency to ramble when talking to friends. I figured why not share my ramblings here with you nice people!
